Unlike the cable and phone companies, with an ISDN connection from Canadian Net, you may run your own web, mail or other servers, 24 hours a day.

ISDN is ideal for businesses and schools, who desire an inexpensive permanent connection to the Internet.

ISDN is offered per "B" channel, your ISDN line from the telephone company will come with 2 "B" channels. Each channel is capable of 64kbs, and maybe combined together, or use one for the Internet, and one as your phone line. You are responsible for purchasing a suitable router, for connection to your ISDN line.

If you do not have an ISDN line, you may also dial into this service with a modem at V90 speeds, again it will be a permanent connection, 24 hours a day, with your own IP.

ISDN service costs $150 per month for the first "B" channel (64kbs) and $100 for any additional channels. Your first IP is free, additional IP's are $10 each. For technical reasons, IPs maybe only available in certain fixed quantities. As always, there is no set-up fee, and your service can usually be established within 3 business days
